Life Cycle of Mosquito
The pupa lives in the water but no longer feeds. Finally, the mosquito emerges from pupal case right after two days to a week in the pupal stage. The life cycle typically takes up almost two weeks, but depending on conditions, this can range from 4 days to as long as a month. There are different types of mosquitoes, which are responsible for various diseases.
Culex Spp
Culex pipiens is the species of blood-feeding mosquito of the family Culicidae. This is a vector for the diseases including Japanese encephalitis and filariasis and it causes acute swelling and fever. It has been found in such polluted water like septic tanks, drains, gutters, etc.
Aedes Spp
Aedes aegypti, the yellow fever mosquito, is the mosquito, which can actually spread dengue fever, chikungunya, Zika fever, Mayaro and yellow fever viruses, and some other disease agents. They are also found in clean waters like pots, empty bottles, old tyres, water cooler and flower vases. This insect is the day bitter along with an identification of a sharp pain.
